# Claude Voice Cue

> Speaks "Input needed" the instant Claude Code is waiting on you — tool approval, plan review, or any attention-wanted prompt. Sub-100ms reaction time via PermissionRequest + Notification hooks. macOS uses a pre-generated audio file with afplay, bypassing 1–2s TTS cold start; Linux and Windows fall back to espeak and PowerShell SAPI. Zero runtime dependencies, non-blocking, no configuration.
