# Prompt Forge

> Use this skill whenever a developer wants help writing, improving, or refining prompts for Claude Code. Also triggers on first contact with any project to bootstrap CLAUDE.md with battle-tested agentic principles. Triggers include: requests to 'help me prompt', 'write a prompt for', 'improve my prompt', 'supercharge my setup', 'bootstrap CLAUDE.md', 'I need to ask Claude Code to...', or any time a user pastes a rough/vague task description and wants it turned into an effective Claude Code prompt. Also trigger when users mention prompt quality, CLAUDE.md files, or say things like 'how should I ask Claude to...' or 'I want Claude Code to do X but I don't know how to phrase it'. Trigger even for casual phrasing like 'help me tell Claude to...' or 'what's the best way to prompt for...'. If someone is clearly struggling with getting good results from Claude Code and the issue might be prompt quality, suggest this skill.
