Plain terms for a plain product. tashan is operated by SeroLabs, Inc. ("we"). By using tashan.sh, the API, the CLI or tashan Pro, you agree to these terms.

What tashan is

tashan is a measurement of publicly available evidence about AI capabilities — MCP servers and agent skills. Every score is derived from public sources and is re-derivable by anyone. See the methodology.

What the audit covers, and what it does not. We check every npm-published capability against OSV for advisories affecting the version you would install today, flag scripts that execute at install time, read build provenance, and derive permission surface from declared dependencies. We do not review source code, execute the capability, or test its outputs for prompt injection. A clean audit means nothing known is wrong — not that nothing is wrong. You remain responsible for what you install.

The free tier

The Index, every score, the badges, the agent endpoints and the CLI are free, with no account and no quota. We may rate-limit abusive traffic, but we will not put a score behind a paywall. The data is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose.

tashan Pro

Pro is sold as a subscription through Polar, who act as the merchant of record and are the seller on your receipt. Your subscription grants a licence key. It unlocks the paid half of tashan doctor — the named replacement for anything dead in your config — and the score-history API. Keep it secret: it is a bearer credential and anyone holding it can use your subscription. You may not resell or redistribute paid data in bulk as a competing dataset.

We may change what Pro includes. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, you may cancel and request a refund for the unused period — see refunds.

The ranking guarantee

Nobody can buy a score, a rank or a listing, and nobody can pay to have a verdict removed. This is not a courtesy; it is the product. Payment buys depth, access and history — never position.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or circumvent the licence gate.
Don't misrepresent a tashan score — quote it with its date and link the capability page.
Don't claim tashan certifies, endorses or has audited anything. We measure; we don't vouch.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of tashan or of any capability you found through it. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months.
